Going Overground - tile effect wallpaper

Created by designer Marianne Smink, Going Overground tile wallpaper is a harmonious, subtly patterned design that uses the grey, white and occasional darker shades of Going Overground tiles as its subject matter.

The tiles are brick-shaped and take their inspiration from the most extensive tiling project ever undertaken in Britain, the London Underground. Prior to universal literacy in Victorian/Edwardian times, the patterns created by clean and simple station tiles were a substitute for name signs. Reimagining the rhythmic patterns that those shapes and lines can create has resulted in this new design.

High-quality 180gsm coated non-woven wallpaper.
